Satu Mare, Romania – Adrian Horotan, affectionately known as "Diță," the driving force behind "Elements of Beauty," recently shared the compelling narrative of his ascent in the hairdressing world. From humble beginnings as a teenager cutting his younger brother's hair, fueled by YouTube tutorials, Horotan's journey is a testament to passion and perseverance.Despite initially pursuing a degree in kinetotherapy, the allure of hairdressing remained a strong hobby. A pivotal five-month stint in a London barbershop at the age of 21 proved transformative, offering invaluable personal and professional growth. "It wasn't easy, but it was a very, very beautiful experience for me," Horotan recounted, emphasizing how it taught him self-reliance and financial management.Upon returning to Romania, he further honed his skills with professional hairdressing and coiffure courses in Cluj. In 2019, he co-founded "Elements of Beauty" with his wife, a salon that now boasts a team of four male hairstylists and offers both men's and women's services. Horotan highlighted the distinct attention Romanians pay to aesthetic appearance compared to some European countries, stating, "We Romanians are a people who care a lot about the aesthetic part."The salon's philosophy centers on providing clients with a complete, relaxing experience, from the moment they enter until they leave feeling refreshed. Looking ahead, "Elements of Beauty" plans to expand its academy, with new courses starting September 15th, and introduce its own line of hair products for men.
