Goca Tržan Reveals How She Won Over Raša's Mother: "I Left the Room to Let Her Be Relaxed"
Belgrade, Serbia – Renowned Serbian singer Goca Tržan recently opened up about her relationship with her husband Raša Novaković and, notably, her mother-in-law. In an exclusive interview, Tržan shared a unique approach she took when first meeting Raša's parents to ensure a comfortable and honest interaction. "I wanted her to be more relaxed, not to feel like she had to flatter me," Tržan explained, revealing that she intentionally left the room when her mother-in-law was discussing her. This unconventional gesture, according to Tržan, allowed for a more genuine initial impression. Tržan emphasized the significance of family in relationships. "Family is very important for all of us," she stated. She acknowledged that not all families are ideal and that every family faces its own set of challenges. However, she stressed the importance of finding a common language. "I'm sure I have many qualities that she despises," Tržan candidly remarked, referring to her mother-in-law. "But they accept me because I am the choice of their son, whom they love above all else." She affectionately described Raša as "a mama's and papa's boy" who deeply values his family, a sentiment she shares. Tržan concluded by reiterating that while families may have differences, mutual acceptance and understanding are key to a lasting bond.
