According to a statement released on Monday, the two leaders agreed to focus on several key areas. These include boosting economic ties, strengthening cooperation in the halal industry, expanding trade relations, and collaborating on infrastructure projects, notably the East Coast Rail Line (ECRL). Prime Minister Anwar stated, "This close collaboration is beneficial for Malaysia, China, and ASEAN as a whole." He also expressed his hope that the summit would stimulate sustainable and inclusive economic growth across the region. The summit also saw discussions on green energy initiatives and the development of artificial intelligence technologies. China's support for strengthening solidarity among Southeast Asian nations was also acknowledged, highlighting the importance of regional stability and prosperity.
