Hajj 2025: Malaysian Pilgrims Ready for Spiritual Journey
Mecca Hajj Preparations Underway: Malaysian Pilgrims Ready for Wukuf Millions of Muslims worldwide eagerly await the annual Hajj pilgrimage. This year, preparations are well underway, with thousands of pilgrims already in Mecca. In a recent interview with Astro AWANI, Mohd Hisham Harun, the head of the Malaysian Hajj delegation, provided an update on the progress. "Tabung Haji is working hard to ensure all our pilgrims are ready for wukuf on 9 Zulhijjah," Harun stated. He highlighted that over 95% of the tent preparations in Arafah and Mina are complete, ahead of schedule. The efficiency of these preparations is particularly noteworthy, given the scale of the operation. This year, more than 25,000 Malaysian pilgrims have already arrived in the Holy Land. The Saudi Arabian government will soon announce the official dates for the start of Zulhijjah and Eid al-Adha, based on the sighting of the new moon. The smooth progress of preparations bodes well for a successful and spiritually fulfilling Hajj for all pilgrims.
