Major LPG Gas Bust in Seremban: 150 Cylinders Seized, Five Arrested

Seremban Gas Raid Nets 150 Cylinders, Five Arrests Seremban, Malaysia – In a significant crackdown on illegal gas activities, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Negeri Sembilan conducted a raid last Friday, resulting in the seizure of over 150 LPG gas cylinders and the arrest of five men. The raid took place at a storage facility in Seremban. "The suspects were involved in the illegal transfer of subsidized gas," a KPDN spokesperson stated. "This operation underscores our commitment to ensuring fair distribution and preventing the exploitation of resources." Authorities also seized equipment used in the illegal transfer, along with several business documents. Two of the arrested individuals are foreign nationals, aged between 28 and 58. The investigation continues under the Control of Supplies Act 1961. The successful raid sends a strong message against illegal activities and demonstrates the government's dedication to protecting public resources.
