
New Kiswah for the Kaaba Officially Unveiled in Makkah
Makkah, Saudi Arabia – In a solemn ceremony on Sunday, the new Kiswah, or covering, for the Kaaba was officially presented to the chief custodian of the Masjidil Haram. Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, presided over the handover. The Kiswah, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, is 14 meters high and made of black silk, intricately embroidered with verses from the Holy Quran. It was created by the King Abdulaziz Complex, a testament to the meticulous attention to detail involved in this sacred task.
