"Following the accident, we've received various suggestions and proposals for improvement from stakeholders," said Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Zamri Abdul Kadir. The proposal to limit student travel to daytime hours is one of the measures under consideration. The KPT is actively reviewing the suggestions to prevent similar tragedies in the future. In a separate incident, another accident involving University of Malaya students occurred early Monday. According to an official, "The information about the accident was only received on Tuesday morning." Despite the accidents, no students suffered injuries in the second incident.
