Mother Charged with Murder After 3-Year-Old Stabbed to Death in Moore Park Beach

A three-year-old girl, Sophia Rose, was tragically killed in Moore Park Beach, Australia, on May 26, 2025. Her mother, 32-year-old Lauren Ingrid Flanagan, has been arrested and charged with murder. Police responded to a call around 4:45 pm and found the child lifeless on the family's front lawn. A neighbor, Derek Condon, stated, "There's something wrong. I can hear a lot of screaming."
