Shanghai, China – BYD has unveiled its latest electric sedan, the BYD SEAL 06, at the recent Shanghai Auto Show, marking a significant step in the brand's electric vehicle lineup. This new model is built upon the advanced Platform 3.0 Evo, designed to deliver superior dynamic performance, enhanced comfort, and improved safety features. The exterior design of the BYD SEAL 06 emphasizes a sleek and aerodynamic profile, characterized by smooth lines, elongated front headlights, and a silhouette that leans towards a fastback style. A distinctive continuous light strip across the rear highlights its modern aesthetic. Under the hood, the BYD SEAL 06 offers two battery configurations. The first, a 46.08 kWh battery, provides an estimated range of 470 kilometers. For extended travel, a larger 56.6 kWh option is available, capable of reaching up to 545 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle's weight varies between 1670 kg and 1800 kg, depending on the configuration. Powering the sedan is an electric motor that delivers 148 horsepower in the base models, while more equipped versions boast a robust 215 horsepower. The interior of the BYD SEAL 06 features advanced technology, including a large central display and comfortable, adjustable seating, emphasizing a user-centric design.
