A mortician, known online as Six Feet Over, has shared five critical life lessons she learned from her profession, emphasizing safety precautions that could prevent tragic outcomes. Her advice, rooted in real-world experiences, offers a unique perspective on everyday risks. Firstly, she advocates for cautious driving, stating she avoids cutting off other drivers to prevent road rage incidents, noting that such encounters can have fatal consequences. Secondly, she advises against swimming in lakes, citing numerous body removals from these environments that have left her scarred. "Give me on a boat, but I'm not gonna be swimming in the lake," she stated. Thirdly, she stressed the importance of addressing prolonged constipation, recounting a case where a 30-year-old woman's colon ruptured, leading to sepsis and death. "If I hadn't gone to the bathroom in more than a week and a half, I would go to the emergency room," she advised. She also warned against the dangers of children joyriding in the back of pickup trucks, deeming it "too dangerous." Finally, she urged drivers to exercise extreme caution at intersections. She stated that when a light turns green, she always looks both ways and waits three seconds before proceeding. This practice, she explained, is a direct result of witnessing numerous fatalities caused by drivers rushing through intersections.
