A recent incident aboard a Frontier Airlines flight has sparked controversy after a passenger was allegedly threatened with flight cancellation and police involvement over their attire. The passenger, who recorded the encounter, claims a flight attendant, identified as Katie, deemed their shorts inappropriate, despite the passenger's assertion that the clothing was not see-through and similar to what other passengers were wearing. The video, uploaded on June 16, 2025, shows the flight attendant engaging in a heated discussion with the passenger, at one point appearing to call for assistance. The passenger stated, "My pants are not see-through. I'm sorry, I do not see the skin of my color between my pants." They further added, "You're asking me out of all the people on this plane to change my shorts when other people are wearing shorts just as short as mine." The flight attendant was heard saying, "I'm doing my job," and later, "I mean I'll call to the front." The passenger accused the flight attendant of harassment. This incident has quickly gained traction online, raising questions about airline dress code policies and their enforcement. Frontier Airlines has yet to issue a public statement regarding the matter.
