Eight people were injured when the suspect allegedly used a makeshift flamethrower. "The suspect yelled 'Free Palestine' before setting eight people on fire," said an FBI official. Two victims remain in critical condition, but all are expected to survive. The suspect entered the U.S. in August 2022 on a B2 visa, which expired in February 2023. He was granted a work permit that expired March 28th. ABC News reporter Mola Lenghi, on the scene in Boulder, stated, "This has all the signs of a hate crime." The Colorado Attorney General agrees.
