Mass Jailbreak in New Orleans: Ten Inmates Escape, Manhunt Underway

A mass escape from a New Orleans jail has sparked a city-wide manhunt. Ten inmates, including eight charged with murder, escaped through a hole behind a toilet. Authorities suspect it may have been an inside job. Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson stated, "It's almost impossible, not completely, but almost impossible for anybody to get out of this facility without help from the outside." The escapees were seen on surveillance footage scaling a fence and fleeing to a nearby highway. The investigation is ongoing.
