Paraglider's Miraculous Escape After Unexpected 8,595-Meter Ascent

A Chinese paraglider, Peng Yujiang, 55, was unexpectedly lifted to 8,595 meters during a flight over the Qilian Mountains in Gansu Province. He faced freezing temperatures and low oxygen levels. "It was terrifying – everything around me was white," Peng recalled. Using his compass and radio, he managed to descend safely.
