CLAY TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN – A red helicopter experienced an unexpected incident on Sunday, June 22, when it rolled onto its side while attempting to land near a local restaurant in Clay Township. The dramatic event, captured on video, shows the helicopter descending towards a landing spot adjacent to the eatery before suddenly losing balance and tipping over, generating a large cloud of dust. According to St. Clair County Emergency Director Justin Westmiller, all four individuals aboard the helicopter, as well as anyone on the ground in the vicinity, emerged from the incident without injury. Eyewitnesses from the restaurant patio were seen quickly moving towards the site immediately following the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that it is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
