Saudi Arabia's Financial Masterplan for Hajj: Ensuring a Smooth Pilgrimage
Saudi Arabia's SAMA Ensures Smooth Financial Hajj Experience: Over 80 Currencies Available This year's Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia is running smoothly thanks to the robust financial infrastructure set up by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA). SAMA has made over 80 international currencies readily available to pilgrims. This is complemented by a network of 672 ATMs and over 52 exchange centers strategically located across the country. "The efforts and planning of banks and exchange institutions have been instrumental," stated a SAMA representative in an interview featured in the Al Arabiya report. "This ensures readiness to serve the guests of God and enhance related instructions." The representative emphasized the collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to address any challenges and provide seamless service to pilgrims. The Al Arabiya video showcases the practical implementation of SAMA's plan, highlighting the ease of currency exchange and the ample availability of cash in various denominations. This comprehensive approach ensures a smooth and hassle-free financial experience for pilgrims from around the world, contributing to a successful and spiritually fulfilling Hajj season.
