Kazakhstan Parliamentarian Proposes Tinting Legalization to Boost Budget: A deputy from the Majilis has proposed legalizing car window tinting in Kazakhstan, highlighting the potential for significant revenue generation. Olzhas Kuspekov cited data indicating that even a partial legalization could bring in over 50 billion tenge annually. He referenced Kyrgyzstan's successful implementation of similar measures, resulting in 4 billion tenge in revenue in 2024. Kuspekov stated, "These funds can be purposefully used for infrastructure restoration and development, including road maintenance." The proposal is currently under consideration by the Kazakh government.
