Bear Tracks Discovered Near Belarusian Village, Raising Local Awareness
MINSK, Belarus – Residents of Vishnevaya village, also known as Klyundevka, in the Borisov District, are urged to exercise caution after fresh bear tracks were discovered on a local dirt road. The tracks, believed to have been made recently, possibly overnight on June 14, 2025, indicate the presence of a bear in close proximity to the settlement. A local resident, Elena Ostrovskaya, documented the discovery during her morning walk, noting the clear and distinct nature of the paw prints. "Look what I found on my morning walk today," she stated in the video, highlighting the size and clarity of the tracks. "These must have been made last night, because the rain hasn't washed them away yet. We've had heavy rains." The tracks were found on a path leading directly towards the village, approximately 400-500 meters from the nearest homes. This incident serves as a reminder for villagers to be vigilant and take necessary precautions when venturing into wooded or rural areas. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the sighting.
