BELGRADE, Serbia – A church soup kitchen in Belgrade is providing essential support to over a hundred individuals daily, offering warm meals and a range of vital services. Volunteers at the facility prepare and serve nutritious food, including hearty bean stews and fresh salads, to those facing difficult life circumstances. Beyond daily meals, the charitable organization extends its assistance to include clothing, footwear, psychological counseling, legal aid, and even free medical check-ups, aiming to provide comprehensive support to the vulnerable population. One volunteer, Luka Aleric, shared his profound experience, stating, "The smell of warm beans, the gratitude in people's eyes, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself – it cannot be described, only experienced." He emphasized the importance of community support for such initiatives. The organization relies on donations to continue its operations.
