Corvette Thief Crashes Through Dealership, Caught Red-Handed Inside
Los Angeles, CA – A dramatic attempted car theft unfolded early Wednesday morning at a Chevrolet dealership, resulting in a 2025 Corvette Z06 crashing through the showroom's glass facade. The incident, captured on video, shows the high-performance blue Corvette partially lodged inside the dealership, surrounded by shattered glass. According to reports, a suspect attempted to steal the luxury vehicle, valued at over $170,000, but became stuck during the escape. Undeterred, the individual then allegedly began searching for keys to another car within the dealership, even taking a drink from a lounge fridge. A USC Campus school officer, flagged down by an eyewitness, quickly responded to the scene. The officer entered the damaged showroom and apprehended the suspect. The individual was subsequently handcuffed and escorted out of the dealership, passing by the debris of the broken entrance. A scooter found nearby is believed to have been used to initially smash the window, facilitating entry. Authorities are investigating the full extent of the damages and the charges against the suspect, which reportedly include felony vandalism, grand theft auto, felony trespassing, and felony burglary.
