The failed capture of notorious Peruvian criminal Erick Luis Moreno Hernández, known as "El Monstruo," in Brazil has reignited concerns about his ongoing criminal activities. According to the report by América Noticias, "El Monstruo" had been operating in Peru, engaging in kidnappings and extortion of businesses in Lima Norte. His right-hand man, ex-police officer Jairo Arancibia Cevallos, was recently apprehended. Despite the failed operation, the ongoing manhunt underscores the threat posed by "El Monstruo" and the need for international cooperation to bring him to justice. The reward for his capture is a half-million soles.
