He noted that the car's owner had recently spent over €1000 on a decarbonization service, which Gaitan described as ineffective for the underlying problem. Gaitan stated that hydrogen-based decarbonization machines are a "scam" and do not properly clean the affected areas, emphasizing that true decarbonization requires manual cleaning.
