Madrid, Spain – A consumer in Madrid is preparing to take legal action against Audi Retail Madrid de Las Rozas, alleging that the dealership failed to address a recurring oil leak issue in his Audi Q7 during the warranty period. The car owner, identified as Luis, states that his vehicle, with 175,000 kilometers, experienced four workshop visits for oil leaks while still under warranty. Despite these visits, the problem persisted, and the warranty has since expired. According to Ángel Gaitan, a mechanic assisting Luis, the root cause of the leak was an oil-filled control unit located under the car's seat, which was allegedly overlooked by the official dealership. Now, with the warranty concluded six months ago, Luis has received a repair quote of 7,000 euros from Audi. Gaitan criticized the dealership's alleged negligence, stating, "It's not right that the warranty expires and suddenly a 7,000 euro bill appears for him to pay." He announced plans to proceed with a lawsuit, presenting documentation and evidence, and invited other affected Audi owners to join the legal challenge to hold the manufacturer accountable.
