Polish Creator Ania Potok Shares Personal Battle with Phone Addiction, Offers Path to Digital Balance
Warsaw, Poland - Ania, a content creator known as ✨Ania Potok✨UGC✨, has openly shared her personal battle with phone addiction, a struggle she initially mistook for ADHD. In a recent video, Ania detailed how her constant engagement with her phone, including checking notifications and endless scrolling, led to alarming screen times, sometimes reaching up to 11 hours daily. "It's not normal to check your phone every minute, or to be unable to part with it," Ania stated in her video. "It's not normal to be unable to tolerate a moment of boredom and focus on a book or learning, even for a moment." She emphasized that while phone use has become normalized, she decided to break free from this pattern. Ania revealed that after extensive diagnoses, her persistent attention problems were identified as a direct result of phone addiction. Her journey to recovery began with addiction therapy and intensive self-education. She is now on a path to finding balance and aims to share her experiences transparently. "I want to be completely transparent and share my journey," Ania explained. "To test what works and what doesn't, to remind why this is important, and to give great inspiration and ideas for spending time offline." She hopes to inspire others facing similar challenges to extract the good from social media while minimizing its harmful effects.
