Kyiv, Ukraine – A new feature within the official Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) mobile application is gaining attention for simplifying the process of purchasing train tickets, especially during periods of high demand. The "auto-buy" function allows users to secure tickets automatically when they become available, eliminating the need for constant manual refreshing. According to a recent video circulating online, users can now specify their desired ticket class, such as luxury, coupe, or reserved seat, and pre-authorize a purchase. If a preferred ticket type becomes available, the application automatically processes the transaction. A notable benefit highlighted is the system's ability to manage price differences: if a user initially pays for a more expensive class but a cheaper, preferred option becomes available and is auto-purchased, the price difference is automatically refunded to their card. This innovation aims to alleviate passenger stress and improve accessibility to train travel across Ukraine.
