The video initially showcased a user's attempt to remove stubborn, burnt-on grease from a ceramic hob using a popular cream cleaner, Cif. Despite considerable effort and leaving the product to soak, the results were largely disappointing, with significant residue remaining. Following this demonstration, renowned cleaning expert Ann Russell, affectionately known as "That English Cleaner Lady," weighed in with professional advice. Russell explained that while cream cleaners like Cif are excellent for routine maintenance and lighter spills, they are not designed to penetrate and dissolve deeply carbonized, burnt-on grease. "Cif works really well, but as you've seen, it has its limitations," Russell stated in the video, referring to the initial cleaning attempt.
