Seven Apprehended, Three Wounded in Panama City Police Raid

Panamanian police conducted a raid in the El Chorrillo district of Panama City on June 3, 2025, apprehending seven individuals, three of whom were minors, allegedly connected to a criminal gang operating in the "Patio Limpio" area. The operation followed reports of gunfire and individuals carrying firearms. "The police received information via a phone call about the incident," stated Sub-Commissioner Germán Tenorio, head of the 8th Police Zone. "Units responded to the scene and observed several subjects running with firearms, entering a building. In coordination with the Public Ministry, we apprehended them." The incident left three people wounded by gunfire. Police continue their investigation.
