«350 рублей за ночь в Бресте?!»
Белоруска возмущена ценами на аренду жилья.
Brest, Belarus – A recent video shared by a local resident, Anzhelika Kravchenko, has sparked discussion online regarding the escalating costs of short-term apartment rentals in Brest. Kravchenko highlighted a significant disparity between advertised prices and the actual daily rates, which she claims can be up to 500 rubles per day for an entire apartment, often initially quoted as a lower price per person. “On websites, they write 80-100 rubles to rent an apartment in Brest,” Kravchenko stated in her video. “But as soon as you call, they say, ‘Oh, that’s per person,’ and the whole apartment costs 350-450, even 500 rubles!” She expressed her disbelief, noting that she finds it “shocking” and that “an apartment in Moscow for a day costs less than an apartment in Brest.” Despite these high prices, Kravchenko mentioned that apartments in Brest are consistently fully booked. The video has resonated with many online, with comments confirming similar situations in other Belarusian cities like Minsk. One user wrote, “In Minsk it’s the same, the price is 50-70 rubles, but when you call, it’s 200 rubles.” Another comment suggested that Brest’s location as a border city might contribute to the inflated prices, creating a high demand. Some users also pointed out that hotels might offer more transparent pricing.
