Couple's Unique Approach to Home Design Avoids Costly Mistakes
A Georgia couple, April and her husband, recently took a unique approach to planning their dream home. They flew to Atlanta and visited a warehouse where their blueprints were projected onto the floor, life-size. This allowed them to physically walk through the design and place actual furniture to check for size and flow. "We realized some rooms were too small and the dining area wouldn't comfortably fit our large table," April shared. Their interior designer, Mandi, worked with them to make adjustments. The couple spent three hours making changes and then emailed themselves the updated PDFs. This experience highlights a creative and effective method for avoiding costly mistakes during the home-building process. The couple's proactive approach and use of technology offer valuable insights for future homeowners.
