Family Creates Vibrant 'Birdhouse Motel' as Unique Backyard Feature

In a delightful display of creativity and family bonding, the 'DIY Birdhouse Motel' project has transformed a backyard into a vibrant avian haven. The initiative, led by local DIY enthusiast Ashton Sedita, involved the collaborative effort of her family, including her children, who helped paint 26 individual birdhouses in a spectrum of bright colors. The project began with the acquisition of numerous wooden birdhouses, which were then meticulously painted. "This project is really special to me because we ended up doing it on Mother's Day and the boys helped me paint all 26 birdhouses," Sedita shared. Each birdhouse received unique touches from the young artists, contributing to the motel's eclectic charm. Once painted, the colorful birdhouses were securely attached to a tall, pink-painted wooden pole, creating a multi-tiered structure. The pole was firmly set into the ground, ensuring stability for the weight of the birdhouses. The finished 'Birdhouse Motel' stands as a testament to imaginative home decor and a memorable family activity, now awaiting its first feathered residents.
