Tajikistan Launches Summer Vacation Program for Children DUSHANBE, June 11, 2025 – Tajikistan has officially launched its summer vacation program for children, providing recreational and educational opportunities for over 300,000 young people. The program, which began on June 12th, utilizes 3,738 facilities across the country, including those in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO), Sughd, Khatlon regions, and Dushanbe. The program is designed to benefit children from all backgrounds, with a focus on those from disadvantaged and vulnerable families. "The first session of the program will run for 12 days," stated Lailai Nazarzoda, a spokesperson for Asia-Plus, in a recent video report. "In total, four sessions are planned throughout the summer."
