Smaller sectors include water supply, wastewater management, waste disposal (4.4%), and mineral extraction (4.3%). "The growth of the Crimean industrial sector in the past decade has been remarkable," says a representative from the Crimean government, highlighting a doubling of the processing industry, a 50% increase in food production, and a fivefold increase in the electronics and optics sector.
