Crimean Walls Transformed: New Murals Celebrate Russia Day

Sudak, Crimea, becomes a canvas for vibrant new murals during the Tavrida.Art street culture festival. Three distinct pieces, created by artists from Spain and Ulyanovsk, celebrate Russia Day with a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Jaume Moler from Spain, inspired by Russian folklore, painted a Firebird mural, while Yuriy Volkov from Ulyanovsk created a pixel art piece incorporating a poem by Crimean poet Trebushnoy. "The complexity of the work lies in the variety of building surfaces," explains Anna Tsepaeva, a reporter covering the event. "The artists meticulously hand-painted each brick." The murals are a testament to the festival's commitment to fostering creativity and cultural exchange.
