Ghanaian Politics: The Battle for MP Support Between Obiba Jk and Hon Ken
Accra, Ghana – A recent political discussion has brought to light significant shifts in parliamentary support, with claims that "Obiba Jk" reduced the number of Members of Parliament (MPs) from 137 to 88, subsequently neglecting 77 MPs. In response, "Hon Ken," identified as Kennedy Agyapong, is reportedly working to regain the support of these 77 neglected MPs. Dr. Palgrave Boachie Danquah, a campaign team member for Kennedy Agyapong, elaborated on the situation during a recent discussion. He stated that a substantial number of "orphan constituencies" and former Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MDCs) have declared their support for Kennedy Agyapong. Danquah emphasized the strategic importance of these declarations, asserting that they indicate a strong and growing base of support for Agyapong's political ambitions. The discussion highlighted the ongoing efforts to consolidate political power and influence ahead of upcoming electoral processes.
