Hon Ken Agyapong Urges NPP Executive to Address Internal Issues Before Presidential Candidacy

During the 'NPP Constituency Chairmen Focus of Ghana Conference,' held from June 20th to 22nd, 2025, Hon Ken Agyapong delivered a candid address to the party's executive. Speaking from the podium, Mr. Agyapong emphasized the necessity of resolving internal party challenges prior to the selection of a presidential candidate. He stated, "If you don't solve those problems, you can bring Jesus Christ as your presidential candidate, even from today, we are still not going to make it." He further highlighted that a presidential candidate cannot solve all problems alone and urged party leaders to conduct thorough fact-finding to understand the causes of past electoral defeats. "All of us here that are going to campaign, what message are we going to give? We don't know the causes of our defeat," he remarked, underscoring the need for a clear understanding of the party's shortcomings before embarking on future campaigns.
