The week-long operation, conducted by the VIPER Taskforce and local crime units between May 12 and 16, led to the seizure of a significant amount of illicit items, including firearms, prohibited weapons, tens of thousands of dollars in cash, and a substantial quantity of drugs such as methamphetamine, cocaine, and cannabis. "The arrests and seizures send a clear message that this type of criminal activity will not be tolerated." Among those arrested were a 30-year-old man found in possession of weapons and cash, and a 60-year-old woman allegedly involved in the trafficking of methamphetamine and cannabis. Charges laid include drug trafficking, firearm and weapons offences, theft, and handling stolen goods.
