Geely EX5 Electric Car: 400km Range Promise vs. 223km Reality in Moldova
Geely EX5 Electric Car Test Drive in Moldova: Reality vs. Expectations AutoBlog.MD recently conducted a test drive of the new Geely EX5 electric vehicle in Moldova. The video, presented by Constantin Mihalachi, revealed interesting discrepancies between the manufacturer's advertised range and real-world performance. The Geely EX5 boasts a 6.22 kWh battery and promises a range of 400 km. However, during the AutoBlog.MD test drive, the car only managed 223.9 km on a full charge. "I've seen many electric cars that promise 600 km but in reality only go 400 or 500," Mihalachi commented in the video. "It's better to have a car that promises 400 km and actually delivers that range." The test drive also showcased the car's 218 horsepower engine and its acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. Despite the shorter-than-advertised range, the overall review was positive, highlighting the car's performance and features. The test drive underscores the importance of independent reviews and real-world testing when evaluating electric vehicle range claims.
