In an exclusive interview, Syntek described the interaction as surprisingly "flirtatious" on Shakira's part, leading to an awkward moment given his wife's presence. Syntek stated, "She saw me and said, 'How handsome, what did you do, Alex? You look so young.'" He added that Shakira also mistook his daughter for his sister, further emphasizing his youthful appearance. Syntek acknowledged his discomfort, noting, "I suddenly felt very uncomfortable because my wife was next to me, and Shakira was very flirtatious."
