Festival of Ideas 2025: Puebla Hosts "Espíritu Inconforme"
Puebla, Mexico, will host the "Espíritu Inconforme" edition of the Festival de las Ideas from May 29th to 31st. This year's event promises a diverse range of speakers, according to director Ricardo Obert, who was interviewed by Azteca Noticias. "We've spent a year preparing this festival," Obert shared, emphasizing the event's theme of unconventionality. One speaker highlighted is a young engineer from a rural Peruvian community who innovatively used bioluminescent plants to solve local energy issues. The festival also features Oscar-winning filmmaker Mislav Chernov, known for his work depicting the siege of Mariupol. The festival aims to inspire attendees and encourage action, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available. Tickets are available on the festival's website.
