KUALA LUMPUR – A heartwarming scene unfolded recently at a durian stall in Kuala Lumpur, captivating online audiences. A local durian vendor, known as Bala Durian, was filmed engaging with three young boys who approached his stall, eager to purchase the popular fruit. In a touching interaction, the vendor inquired about the boys' savings. One boy proudly presented a 5 Ringgit note, another a 2 Ringgit note, and the third a 6 Ringgit note, totaling 13 Ringgit. Instead of accepting their money, the generous vendor surprised the children by offering them a premium "Musang King" durian completely free of charge. "No need to weigh, no need to pay," the vendor can be heard saying, as he carefully opened the durian for them and placed it into a plastic bag. The boys' faces lit up with disbelief and joy at the unexpected gift. The vendor then returned their money, advising them to "save it back." This act of kindness quickly gained traction on social media, with viewers praising the vendor's generosity and the positive message of saving money. The video serves as a reminder of the small, impactful gestures that build community spirit and leave a lasting impression.
