NOVI SAD, Serbia – Vladimir Balac, a prominent local figure, has publicly condemned an act of vandalism at his parents' home in Futog, Novi Sad, describing it as the "culmination of blockader violence." Speaking directly from the site, Balac revealed that his parents' house was spray-painted overnight with messages including "Move out, newcomers" and signed by "Zborovi Novi Sad." Balac interpreted the message "Move out, newcomers" as a direct threat, questioning, "What will happen if I don't move out? Will you physically attack me? Will you attack me, my family?" He linked the perpetrators to groups opposing the construction of a church on Liman and those who are bothered by the Serbian tricolor flag, stating, "Those who did this are probably the same ones who are bothered by the construction of the church on Liman and the same ones who oppose and are bothered by the Serbian tricolor." In a defiant address, Balac declared his unwavering resolve. "I must and want to tell them from here: I am not afraid, I will not give up!" he asserted. "I will continue to get tens, I will continue to be a good student, I will fight with all my being for my country, my Serbia, to be a better place to live. There is no surrender, and we will not give you Serbia." Local authorities have been informed of the incident, and investigations are reportedly underway. The event has sparked considerable discussion online, with many expressing support for Balac and condemning the act of intimidation.
