Fiul lui Sile Cămătaru, arestat preventiv după ce și-a bătut copilul. Soția lui Dani Balint sare în apărarea acestuia: Copilul e în depresie
Bucharest, Romania – Rebecca Balint, sister of Dani Balint, has publicly addressed the recent arrest of her brother and the accusations of child abuse leveled against him. In a video statement, Balint, accompanied by another woman and a young boy identified as David, refuted claims circulating in online and traditional media regarding an alleged severe beating of David by his father, Dani Balint. "We want to debunk everything that has been created and spread online and in mass media," Rebecca Balint stated. She clarified that the incident, which occurred this summer, involved her sister Sara, not Oana, and that police statements were taken. The family maintains that the child, David, was not severely injured and that the incident was a disciplinary action taken by his father after concerns arose about David's potential substance use. "You found it appropriate to come and arrest a man for what?" she questioned, highlighting that the child is loved and not abandoned. The family expressed dismay at the authorities' approach, suggesting that family counseling or psychological support would have been more appropriate than an arrest. They also criticized the police for allegedly overlooking numerous genuine cases of child abuse and public disturbances, while focusing on their family's situation. David, the child at the center of the controversy, reportedly told police he does not fear his father and wishes for him to remain home. The family insists that the arrest has caused significant emotional distress to David, who now feels sadness and guilt.
