Concerned Citizen Reveals ICE Prison Minutes From Bustling Massachusetts Mall, …
This blacked out building is a new ICE headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, and locals aren't happy about it.
Burlington, MA – A recent video highlights the proximity of the New England Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Headquarters to the Burlington Mall, claiming the walk between the two locations takes less than five minutes. The video, shared by a group named 'Bearing Witness,' alleges that immigrants processed at this facility are subjected to inhumane conditions, including prolonged detention in cells reportedly lacking beds, windows, clocks, soap, showers, and adequate food or water. It also claims that detainees are denied due process and that ICE agents from this office deploy in unmarked vehicles across New England states to apprehend immigrants. The headquarters building is noted for its tinted windows and lack of external signage, situated within a large office park. While the facility was previously designated for temporary holding without overnight detention, the video asserts that this is no longer the case, with individuals now being held for days. The 'Bearing Witness' group encourages public participation in peaceful solidarity demonstrations held outside the facility every Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM, advocating for the rights of immigrants.
