Belarus Honors Vietnamese Leader with Order of Friendship

MINSK, BELARUS – In a ceremony held today at the Presidential Palace in Minsk, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko bestowed the Order of Friendship of Peoples upon To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The award underscores the strong and growing bilateral ties between Belarus and Vietnam. President Lukashenko stated, "I am confident that with this man, we will do much to ensure that the foundation of our relations cannot be touched, not even destroyed." The event was attended by numerous Belarusian and Vietnamese officials and representatives of the media. This is To Lam's fourth visit to Belarus, highlighting the enduring nature of the relationship between the two nations. This visit and award symbolize the commitment to strengthening political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
