Kedah Celebrates 44th Anniversary with Entrepreneur Empowerment Event Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia – The Majlis Himpunan Usahawan Kedah 2025, held on May 26th, marked Kedah's 44th anniversary with a focus on supporting local entrepreneurs. The event, held at the Raia Hotel & Convention Centre, brought together hundreds of entrepreneurs from various sectors. The initiative, spearheaded by Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development YB Datuk Hajjah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, aimed to empower businesses outside urban areas. "This event is a crucial step in strengthening the economic landscape of Kedah," said YB Datuk Hajjah Rubiah. "By providing training in digital marketing and networking opportunities, we aim to increase the income of our entrepreneurs by 30%." The Majlis included a series of workshops and networking sessions, focusing on modern digital marketing techniques. Awards were presented to several successful entrepreneurs, recognizing their contributions and achievements. One award recipient, Muhammad Fauzan Rohim, expressed his gratitude, stating, "This award will help me expand my wedding planning business and assist other entrepreneurs in the region."
