Johor Allocates RM3.3 Million to Boost Early Childhood and Religious Education Johor, Malaysia – The state government of Johor has announced a RM3.3 million investment to significantly upgrade its early childhood and religious education systems. This substantial funding will directly benefit programs like Tabika and Taska Kemas, improving facilities and implementing a modernized curriculum. According to the report by Berita RTM, RM1.5 million will be used to enhance the quality of Tabika and Taska Kemas, while RM1.8 million will be allocated to the Iqra' and Fardu Ain programs. This initiative reflects a commitment to providing better educational opportunities for young children in the state. "In an effort to achieve Johor's educational goals," stated Menteri Besar Datuk On Hafiz Ghazi, "Tabika Kemas will be upgraded with a new curriculum based on the Johor National-type primary school system, including STEM elements." The improvements will extend to the infrastructure, with the construction of a new youth center in the Kulai district underway. The initiative aligns with the Sultan of Johor's vision for improved educational facilities across the state, ensuring that every district has resources to support the development of young people. With three TMICYC centers already operational, this investment represents a significant step towards achieving this goal.
