Another Malaysian pilgrim dies during Hajj; death toll rises to eight. A 65-year-old man from Kangar, Perlis, passed away in Mecca due to a heart attack, according to Datuk Dr. Mohammad Na'im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs). The Minister stated, "The death of Abdul Yazid Mat, 65, was due to a heart attack at a hospital in Mecca." The deceased had successfully completed the wukuf in Arafah, a crucial part of the Hajj pilgrimage. The Tabung Haji is assisting the family with arrangements. This latest death brings the total number of Malaysian fatalities during this year's Hajj to eight.
