Allowance Boost for Perlis' Islamic Kindergarten Educators

Perlis, Malaysia: Increased Allowances for Islamic Kindergarten Educators On June 15, 2025, the Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Perlis announced increased allowances for Islamic kindergarten teachers and assistants. The allowance for teachers will increase by RM400, reaching RM1400 monthly, while assistants will receive an additional RM200, totaling RM1000. This affects 40 teachers and 21 assistants, impacting 874 students across the state. Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr. Mohamad Abdul Hamid, also MAIP chairman, stated, "The increase will benefit 40 teachers and 21 assistants educating 874 students." He emphasized that this is part of the Perlis Islamic Religious Development Agenda 2030. The video also shows the Perpaduan Minggu event, where the Raja of Perlis stressed the importance of national unity, not solely the government's responsibility, but a collective effort. One attendee, Insani Hassani, commented on the concert, "It was the best concept, a mix of old and new artists."
