
Belgrade Prepares for EXPO 2027: International Exhibition Announced with Symbolic Events
Belgrade, Serbia – The highly anticipated EXPO 2027, the first international exhibition of its kind in the Western Balkans, has been officially announced. The event is scheduled to take place in Belgrade from May 15 to August 15, 2027. The theme for this major international gathering will be "Play for Humanity, Sport and Music for All," emphasizing global cooperation and shared human values. The announcement was marked by a series of symbolic activities held in the heart of Belgrade. Giant chess pieces, large balls, and paper airplanes were seen moving through the city center, creatively signaling the upcoming exhibition. Organizers anticipate a significant global turnout, with over 120 countries expected to participate. Already, 104 nations have confirmed their attendance, indicating strong international interest in EXPO 2027. The exhibition aims to showcase cultural and sporting achievements from participating countries.
