Belgrade's EXPO 2027 Planning Meeting Draws Over 150 Nations
Belgrade, Serbia – The International Planning Meeting (IPM) for EXPO 2027, held in Belgrade, has successfully brought together over 150 countries and five international organizations, marking a significant milestone in the preparations for the upcoming global exhibition. Borovčanin, a key speaker at the event, emphasized the impressive turnout, noting that the number of confirmed participants already exceeds those of previous major expos. The IPM serves as a crucial technical gathering where participating nations receive comprehensive information regarding the design, construction, and equipping of their pavilions. Discussions also cover vital logistical aspects, including legal entity registration, opening bank accounts, and securing residency permits and visas. Borovčanin highlighted the establishment of a 'one-stop shop' to streamline these processes, ensuring a smoother experience for all participants. The meeting aims to address all relevant topics to facilitate effective planning and participation in EXPO 2027.
